THE FOUR PILLARS

In 1919, The American Legion was founded on four pillars: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth, Each of these pillars encompasses a variety of programs that benefit our nation’s veterans, its service members, their families, the youth of America and ordinary citizens. These programs make a difference in hundreds of thousands of lives each year. It’s who we are and what we do.

OUR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

At American Legion Post 654, we offer a wide range of programs and services to support our veterans and their families, as well as our local community. Some of our key programs and services include:

  • VA Benefits Counseling: Our service officers provide free advice and assistance to any veteran, regardless of whether they are a member of our Post. We can help with VA benefits counseling, employment referrals, and more.
  • Rentals:  Ours spacious and elegant facilities are available for all occasions, including weddings, anniversary parties, business events, and more. We offer discounts to veterans and American Legion members, as well. Available Sunday through Saturday including tables and chairs.
